Bye Bye Fishy...

Today was such a fulfilling day... went to cooking pract.. wow we have to kill a live fish and cut it up.
DAM its my first time killing A FISH.. HAHA but still theres a first time for everything... :P when i found out my fish was alive as most of the fish in the bucket is supposed to be dead due to the ice blanketing it. I held it and talked to it :S i was like oh.. hi fishy.. hope u like fish chowder... coz u gonna be one.. :P haha Sadistic right.. but oh well thats life.. haha! then i asked the chef on how to kill it wif it being pretty much lively. and taught me to grab it place it up right aim for the head and use the flat side of the knife and knock it out...
The de-finning process begin.. i practically used a scissors and my body weight to do it.. except that the fish was particularly slimy... oh yea forget to mentiont that the fish is called tilapia.. or smth liddat. after de-finning went on to scaling that has cause me and steph the most cleaning up to do.. i practically made a wall of scales in the sink.. LOL..
Then i went on to remove its organs.. wow i m pretty amazed how the gall bladder looking so green and translucent.. but it smells like gall bladder? HAHA. but trust me its not something you want to smell, unless u want waterfall coming out of your mouth :/

After cooking our chowder and almost getting our holandaise sauce.. but we did not as it curdled at the most crucial moment.. but overall it was all alright :D

now for the most irritating part of the day.. Chef paul was like you guys have to stay back and collect ur knifes.. i m like WTH.. if he gave us earlier it made the slicing and killing of the fish MUCH MUCH EASier.. DAM!..

After that went for FNC and had lunch / dinner wif classmates and pretty much ended the day.. oh yea i just cut my finger while playing around wif the knife.. dam thats sharp.. i din even felt pain till like 5 mins later haha.. Oh well that pretty much all.. gotta go now tml got db and sf.. long day! cya ~

PULAU UBIN & Not STUDYING!

Today had been such a tiring day. man... get to use my cam to the max but at a big drawback.. LOUSY BATT!... used some GP batt disposable.. that only last perhaps 20 - 30 shots? so i kept changing batt today.. sighs.. hahaha zzz i'll try to find a site that let me upload all the fotos then link it to this post.. cya.

suay day

wow wad a suay day.. woke up.. feeling exhausted. went to bathe, then realised i left my safety shoe at commonwealth.. so quickly shower skip breakfast then leave for commonwealth.. just then.. i realised no one at my new house to open the dam door and i m stuck till my maid sent my bro to skool and realised that i ll be late i msged my dad to prepare a letter for me if decide not to go... and as usuall all the scolding and crap.. so went to vivo half way jia lat stomach ache.. go toilet after baking my frav chocolate cake i decided to change just my pants and i walked out of the toilet wif my pajamas pant -_- every 1 stared... then i quickly got on a cab and rushed down to skool. lucky chef today lenient otherwised i m screwed.. 5 hour of standing outside lab doing nothing...

As i skip breakfast, when i wake up too early or smth and i dun eat breakfast i ll start sneezing like no mother..then mucus leak like water tap.. zzz totally in apt place to be showing all this symptoms as i m in a KITCHEN LAB PREPARING FOOD .. chef was concerned but i told him it was just a body reaction to the onions LOL.. onion onion poot poot poot.. bawang bawang toot toot toot... oh well such nostalgia.. btw chef gary give me the impression of a pig or wild boar.. with that stern face and his nose pointing outwards... hahha!

This few days no com no internet still survive.. oh well hardly use the com nowadays to do productive stuff anyway.. haha but my new house has led me to taking the purple line to skool which was FAST saves me alot of time going to and from skool.

jia lat i haven buy my C.I.A book which cost me 65 bucks and my knive set is coming in next week! woot 80 bucks.. wow how am i gonna get that much money in such a short time...

today's kitchen lesson was super tiring coz of my irritation. then i tried my first time doing tourney wif a carrot.. omg its not easy.. i wasted like 1 carrot full trying to make a 3 cm carrot tourney.. LOL oh well according to chef gary's homework to make 6 good turned carrots by next week and show him. that leaves me wif 7 days to do it. good luck.. Haha

This weeks BMIC lab was best.. i went down to koi pond wif S.H. to collect water samples.. haha made him do the dirty jobs.. HAHA oh well nice guy, but thing is from that sample we found a WATER BEAR.. go wiki it or smth.. totally cool.. rmb that is was one of the most hardy organism on earth looks like its gonna stay for a long time...

not so bad after all...

lol woke up in the morning wif the impression of today gonna be a long and draggy and tiring day.. but nope it wasnt! :D but still its exhausting with all the events taking place over the course of the day which cause fatigue to accumulate longer.. speaking of accumulate.. somebody wanna accumulate their pet's shit and throw it on me... i guess i can only wish that person good luck -_-

today went for drum training.. but sad to say i did not pass the instructor's test coz i suck at my tempo and rythmic sense which also leads to me not being able to follow the stupid metronome at tempo of 60? wth.. sucks right yea dun harp on it haha

after that cabbed down to safra mt faber.. im like wth my parents told me 6-8 but it started at 7 coz my parents kiasu wan go down earlier.. make me leave training half way.. zzz how irresponsible i am!! lol..

woot tml got another wet training! yay.. the coach said smth that made me happy.. he said" you can dun come for land training but you MUST COME FOR wet training." this sentence made me and shie hong happy like anything sial.. no more pt!!! haha no la will go for pt too but at our own moderation?? haha!

During the dinner, after so long finally talk to my cousins properly.. we were like discussing all the crappy and lame stuff.. and trust me its lamenting how i got to noe some of the lame stuff. but it was pretty alright coz we ended off wif lame jokes -_- not helping>..> HAHA!

wow today was such a slack day man.. was suppose to meet some of my classmate to study end up woke up late and thus only manage to reach to eat lunch with them haha.. wow today's tutorial is super duper draggy.. but it marks the start of my first official project work... turkey.. wad a nice country.. but i guess its time to do alittle bit researching on it.. :( Lol i had such a nice classmate who waited for me..man wad a classmate! shall treat the person an ice cream or smth.. despite of my constant bullying which help alleviates my boredom in class and skool lol.. no offense XD but maybe i should stop being so mean and make fun of my classmates after all its not nice?

After reaching home i was immediately dragged by my parents to vivo to eat and waas super tired -_- lol then today i have no idea why so many of my friends have probs.. but yea glad i was of help to them if i was :S haha haiz.. as the time is ticking its getting closer to tml.. tml is such a long day 3 things taking up much blocks of time are all gonna happen tml ! please god help me make time for tml...
Watched marley and me on vcd.. wow quite emotional seeing how the dog being such an impt part of the family despite it bringing so much problems.. reminds me of alot of ppl despite giving much probs to their family.. but its still the family who they can fall back to..
Yet... it gives me another thought that how time is such a wonderful thing.. it just allows all misfitting event to be interlink and connected together.. despite of their vast difference..

yawnsss... just decided to make a blog for fun and ranting purpose.. to emotionally balance my life.. :P. Being not a very artistic/creative person i decided to just use default font for all post.

Wow ever since school started(TP) I've been thrown into and abyss of uncertainty and doubts.. With all the modules i m taking right now that have only an estimated 10% - 40% relevancy to being a chef.. etc integration wtf? is that in your course. many would ask.. how the heck i know? maybe to just make life more complex than it have always been. like shie hong said before " Amath anything can pop out of no where 1 sia." lol what a statement yet so true..
Sian amath reminded me of OBC (organic Biochemistry).. wad bald and lame lecturer i have man... he's always bragging his history... dude come on.. look forward.. count wads left on ur head...-_-

enuf said i tink i feel tired enuf and shall sleep.. yawnssssss
